The Danger of Legalism

Jesus rebuked the hypocrisy of the Pharisees who were equating traditions created by men to the commands of God. We need to realize that the things in our own hearts reveal our wickedness, and we need God to transform us and give us knew hearts. May we trust in Christ's work on the cross and not attempt to earn God's favor through legalism.
